This principle was on full display as Apopka Serves Foundation led a volunteer effort to assist a local Veteran in need. With the support of dedicated volunteers and generous community partners, an Apopka resident who once served our country received much-needed home repairs, improving both the safety and quality of her living conditions.
The project aimed to address critical repairs and maintenance issues that had become difficult for the Veteran to manage alone. Volunteers from various backgrounds united to restore portions of her home, tackling tasks such as yard cleanup, structural repairs, painting, and debris removal.
