Apopka, meaning “potato eating place” in Seminole, was incorporated in 1882 as the “Town of Apopka City.” Over the years, it has flourished into a diverse city offering beautiful parks, extensive bike trails, and a thriving arts and dining scene. Come and be part of this special occasion as we commemorate Apopka’s past and look forward to its future.Â
