Planting Apopka
Planting Apopka is a program focused on connecting the people in this 35 sq mile city through “Embracing Our Growing History”, as the city of Apopka was once known as the “Indoor Foliage Capital of the World.”
Planting Apopka is about connecting.
Connecting means different things to different people. We aim to connect people with a long history in Apopka with the newcomers. Connecting big businesses to the community, and small businesses to one another, all so we can grow and nurture relationships, the community, the children, schools, services and to make this diverse world a better place.
